Increased latency and poor performance were plaguing an AdTech company’s existing infrastructure. The company knew there was a need for a complete overhaul but lacked the large team and resources needed to execute such a significant project in each of its datacenter locations around the world. The company turned to Redapt for the solution.
In a nutshell
Faced with an immediate need to upgrade its existing infrastructure to remain competitive, the global AdTech company selected Redapt to design, build, and install new racks for each of its datacenters, and the Redapt team handled every facet of the process from start to finish.
Redapt’s AdTech client was operating on an aging infrastructure that was hindering performance goals both within the organization and for its customers.
The client needed to stand up several new datacenters that could scale to selected demand in the future while also removing the older, inefficient infrastructure, but the company did not want to take on the burden of designing, deploying, and maintaining it internally.
The Redapt Integration Center team designed the rack solution for each datacenter, followed by assembling, testing, and prepping the hardware so that it was ready to energize and deploy upon arrival.
Redapt then provided shipping, white glove delivery, and installation of the hardware in each region, while also removing and recycling the outdated hardware that was being replaced.
This end-to-end, cost-effective, and streamlined process minimized downtime and ensured a fast installation for the client.
Redapt’s AdTech client is now able to efficiently deploy its network of datacenters around the globe to meet current performance needs—along with scalability for future demands—without the risk of bogging down integration or having to build a cost-prohibitive internal network infrastructure team.
Pleased with the results of the project, the client has decided to retain the Redapt team for ongoing management and support for their infrastructure.
Moment of clarity
Realizing that the building out and deployment of datacenter infrastructure not only requires full-time resources and attention but also risks under-utilizing the new hardware itself, the AdTech client turned to Redapt to undertake the entire infrastructure installation process and ensure it was fully optimized to scale.
What the company needed
The client wished to overhaul their entire data infrastructure worldwide but wished to take a hands-off approach to conserve their internal resources and ensure ideal datacenter performance.
- End-to-end project management
- Supply chain management
- Compute, storage, and network engineering
- Skilled datacenter technicians
